Wonderful, marvelous wallpaper and other good stuff!

I have two wallpaper installs I just had to share.

The first one I wrote about here.
It's for a teen girl's room we are redesigning.
The paper is so very chic and should grow with this young and stylish gal over the years...

The second is
another one of my all-time favorite wallpapers
"Vases" from Clarence house.

This iconic wallpaper will be beautifying a hallway in a charming english-style stone home. Couldn't be a better fit!

You can read more on how to pick the perfect wallpaper here.

In other news...
For all you fashionistas DVF launched a fabric and trim line for Kravet. Check it.

Thoughts?

I'm getting ready to spend the day at a client's house styling her bookshelves and coffee table --- you know the fun part of the job!

A room is never truly finished until its styled:) Which reminds me of a post I wrote a while back on how to style a coffee table. You can read it here.

And I was thrilled to find this little cheat sheet on Erin Gates Elements of Style blog to add to my ever-growing list of favorite coffee table books.

Books are essential to styling any room!
To see Erin's picks up close and personal you can go here.

Kinda Obsessed

Decorating Anyone?

I'm kinda obsessed with these images of Erin Gates Boston home from the Elements of Style. If you don't know her blog you need to check it out here.

That dog kills me.

Definitely buying lots of wreaths in all sizes and
may have to go with the black, white and green color scheme with touches of gold .... when I finally get around to decorating.

I'm thinking about buying some of this ribbon as my
jumping off point

here

Oh and one last tip for achieving that magazine-worthy, picture-perfect holiday decor? Greenery and lots of it. Rich, lush and varied greenery. Boxwood, bayleaf, rosemary and cedar. Not the stuff I normally buy. I read that tip here. Now I just need to make it happen. And don't think I don't know that I am WAY late on this!

What's going on over here other than contemplating Christmas decorating?

Oh, just a large built in that will be painted high-gloss black with book shelves backed in Kelly Wearstler's
Imperial Trellis in Onyx Gloss.

So glam yet subtle.

See how beautiful this wallcovering is?

I will definitely share pictures when done!

On a much lighter note,

How's this for good, clean fun?  .... Jimmy Fallon, Rasheda Jones and Carrie Underwood sing a Thanksgiving and Christmas parody.

HILARIOUS. Please watch.
